Measuring for Half Circle Arch Blinds
Arches rest on top of the blind head rail. Three types of mounts: 1. EXTENDED ARCH WINDOW-PERFECT Step 1: Determine blind and arch starting height at perfect point of window opening. Step 2: Measure blind WIDTH and blind LENGTH. Step 3: Measure arch WIDTH and arch HEIGHT. Step 4: Make sure blind length and arch height = TOTAL height of window.
Note: In extended arch windows make arch height fit into the arch height min/max so a perfect arch will fit. Do this by moving the blind up or down. Once again the total height of arch window opening should equal the blind length and the arch height.
2. STAND ALONE ARCH WINDOW WITH SILL Arch rests directly on sill and a standard valance covers mounting holes Note: A standard 2 ½” valance is required.
3. STAND ALONE ARCH WINDOW WITH NO SILL Arch rests directly on bottom of arch sheet rock ledge so a valance is required to cover any light gaps.
Note: Perfect arch definition: A perfect arch does not exist but if it did it would be HEIGHT =half the WIDTH
